With the New York Rangers holding a 2-1 lead early in the third period and about to kill a penalty.

**Quick makes so many brilliant saves though.. so really it's entertaining but who cares. Get em in Soci Quickie!

** I wouldn't be surprised to see Craig Anderson playing in Sochi. If he starts this season as good as he ended the last one they'll have to consider it.

** Kings didn't bother to show up tonight period. It looked like Quick was the only one awake, until he made this mistake. One of the worse games ever by Doughty and Voynov. They were turnover machines. High expectations this year for the Kings, and while it's extremely early... man, what a let down. Wake the **** up!

** He must have watched too much of the Red Green show - "keep your stick on the ice"

** Even the best goalie in the league makes a mistake once in a while. He's won games all himself, the occasional flub can be over looked.

** That was rough, but Quick is one of the best goalies in the NHL. He'll bounce back.

** Hockey can be a weird sport sometimes.

** Quick pulled two bone head plays against the Blues in the playoffs. The Kings still won. He will be fine.
** Reminds me of a similar own-goal by Marty Brodeur in the 2003 Finals. Pretty helpless feeling to accidentally put one in on yourself like that.

** eerily similar to what Broduer did a few years ago and he is one of the all time best.. Bogosian's giveaway to Corey Perry was worse lol

** Thank god this wasnt against Jimmy Howard or else he would have been tared and feathered by some of the Howard haters. Maybe even ran out of Detroit.

** Jonathan Quick only makes $5.8 million a year. If they would just pay him more, then he could be motivated to use all his skills and play much better.

** What worries me is that Quick has been giving up flukes lately in his career,maybe that long contract has taken off the edge in his play..but not all the blame is his,this is the same bunch that couldn't score last year to save their lives and they've picked up from there.

** Awful play by Quick. So far he isn't looking like Olympic material. He got a standing ovation on his next save though. Overall, got outplayed tonight. Love my Kings, but man, get with the program!!!

** Love my Kings but what a sloppy game punctuated by this unfortunate play. Pretty classless of the Rangers to celebrate what was obviously a total fluke play, otherwise congrats to them on a great game.  At least Quick had a sense of humor about it when he made an easy stop of the puck that was flung down the ice later on. Played to the audience who gave him a sarcastic cheer.

** What an amazing game that was though. Not just team for team but goalie against goalie, that was a BANGER game. WOW, still just getting over that. Now we have to play another tough Sharks team tomorrow. It's going to be goood!!!!
