*And let's not forget the feet, too. They never touched a puck the hold time he was stickhandling around them.
* I'm sure he can do that with my old Koho Revolution . I couldn't do that no matter how expensive Bauer I had .Btw. 1998's agent movie called and wants its graphics back.
* The kid is amazing and this coming from a die hard Red Wings fan that hates chicago's guts!!!!!!!!!!!!!
* Kaner's skills are absolutely disgusting out there on the ice. Not only is he a great puck-handler, but he is possibly one of the best passers in the game, as well. Watching him help lead the Hawks to the their 2nd Cup in the last 4 years has been awesome!! Have fun with the Dynasty that's brewing here in Chicago.
* There should be more players with skills approaching Kane's. USA Hockey is trying to make it so by having youth hockey implement ADM (American Development Model). The problem is parents who want the kids to play a lot of full ice games. This is an ongoing struggle. Yahoo will not let me post the link but search for "Are rebels in hockey-mad Michigan the saviors of youth sports" to read a good story on the subject.
* Crosby can do that skating backwords with his eyes closed cause hes Canadian and we are the best!
* I'm sure this will make me real popular with hawks fans, but datsyuk could skate into those pucks, take the puck away from kane, deke away from him and then shoot out the camera all without touching any of the other pucks.
*All well and good, but in the game, there is a couple of guys who are there to knock him off the puck. There a lot more to the game than just puck handling. Setting up plays and passing are just a couple.
* Impressed ? not really , his head is down the whole time , he isn't skating that hard , In a real game he would be on his backside in 5 seconds . And lets not forget about editing , I dont think the puck hit the camera at all . although it came close, but how many takes did they have to get it right ? It might look skillful but it is impractical in a game situation , hit the guy or check and/or tie up his stick that would make him lose puck control. there are a lot of players that could stick handle around loose pucks , it is what they do for about 15 years during practices growing up.
*Kane is immensely talented but take this vid with a grain of salt. It IS a commercial after all... remember the ones with Crosby? Not everything we see is real.
